As far as I recall, you have to adjust manually, there is no programtic
mechanism. I created a large number of cursors and organized them into
groups where the cursor name was either left right higher or lower and
then turned on one from the appropriate group to keep the name from
crossing the graph. You can also lock a cursor to the plot, and display
its position with the X or +, but with no name displayed. Then, use
another free cursor with the name displayed, but no target displayed,
and offset its position with respect to the locked cursor to place the
name in the proper location. Or, you can do everything in the picture
control.
