Hello,
I have an image control on a front panel with splitters- the pane that the image control is in resizes the controls with the size of the pane. The problem is that when you resize the window or resize the pane the ROI tool palette resizes and changes position. Eventually half of the palette is off-frame and the buttons in the palette grow larger and larger. See attached images. Is there a way to prevent this?
Thanks for any suggestions

Hi,
The behavior you are seeing has actually been filed as a bug. The CAR ID is 378146. As a workaround, you might want to try locking the front panel object: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/88BD8808E749928B862569D500555ED7. There are other suggestions in this forum post: https://forums.ni.com/t5/Machine-Vision/Lock-ROI-tools-to-Vision-Image-Container/td-p/2201674
Hope this helps!

Hello,
I think the WindTools will work. I appreciate the help but man, that is a long, long time for a bug to to uncorrected if it was identified in 2012! It would be nice for these things to get noted in the context help.... I wasted a bunch of time trying everything under the sun to get the ROI tool palette to behave. This is also not a nice thing to have happen when demonstrating software to a customer. The behavior did not happen on the monitor that I developed the application on, and the whole point of using the different panes is to allow for some FP objects to resize with monitor resolution.
Again, I appreciate the work around..
Thanks!
