Previous version LABview

Hi there,

I was just wondering if there is any way I could obtain LABview 8.6?

I am currently using the 2013 student version for college, but my proffessor stresses that the 8.6 is required for use.

Thanks very much.

Well, if the professor has these specific requirements, the he also needs to provide a way for every student to get that version. Did you ask him?

(btw, it is LabVIEW, not LABview.)

You can do your code, and after finishing click file-save for previous version and click the vesion you want.

I managed to find the download here: LabVIEW Development System 8.6.1

What drivers and add ons will you need.  The drivers that work with 2013 will not work with 8.6.1.  So there is that potential issue.

The problem with Save For Previous is when you use a "new" feature, like conditional autoindexing tunnels.  It might result in something you might now like.

That's helpful, I couldn't find one through site search or google search.

There doesn't seem to be a download link there though sadly.

Does that mean the download link doesn't show up if you aren't logged into NI.com with an address associated with an SSP?
