Printing my program

I'm trying to print out my program so that it is legible and I am also not destroying a rain forest in the process. My program contains some large sized case structures and if I leave the block diagram scaling "on" in my print set up, then it prints out in a 0.000001 size font. But when I turn the block diagram scaling "off" it sends out a 36 MB file to the printer!

Is there an easy way to tinker and adjust the size? Is there a way to do a print preview?

Hi,

There is an easy way to do a print preview on documents in LabVIEW. If you go to File >> Print…, you can specify the Print Contents and then hit the Preview button on the right-hand side. Then, you can see each page of that is sent to the printer and how it will appear once printed.

As for an easy way of doing a custom scaling on your printing documents, there’s nothing in LabVIEW to allow you to scale besides just scaling to fit on a single page and no scaling at all. You can try printing to a file (RTF file, maybe?) and then opening up the document in another application and performing a custom scaling on the object to be printed.

Hope this helps. Best of luck!
