Problem Building Application from LabVIEW 7.1 using VIs from Vision 8.0

I have the Professional Edition of LabVIEW 7.1 and the NI Vision Development Module 8.0.  I am trying to build an application using Vision components. 

My application builds and installs on the target machine without any warnings.  When I try to run it, it states that it can't find the DLLs NIVisSvc.dll and NIVisSvc.dll.  I therefore tried installing the Vision Run Time Engine (C:\Program Files\National Instruments\Vision\Run-Time Engine\vision80rte.exe) on the target machine.  This then asked me to choose to either evaluate, or enter the serial number.   Presumably I should not be distributing the serial number for my Vision Development Module to my customers, so I chose Evaluate.  When I run my application, I therefore get messages asking me if I want to continue evaluating and after a period, It will stop working. 

I then read the Knowledge Base article "How do I Deploy LabVIEW 8.0 Applications with NI Vision 8.0?" http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/websearch/0468423DEA93D2A786257111005EB9F7?OpenDocument (Document ID: 3U9A7AD3) and tried doing as told under the heading "To include the Vision Run-time Engine with your deployment using the LabVIEW installer for executables:".  No additional installers appeared in my LabVIEW 7.1 "Advanced Installer Settings" box.  Am I looking in the wrong place?  Is it possible to produce executables that use LabVIEW 7.1 with Vision 8.0?

I also read the Knowledge Base article "How Do I License my Vision Application Deployment?" http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/websearch/F1699570F78FECBB86256B5200665134?OpenDocument (Document ID: 2HUBJPXL), which seems to imply that I might need to buy a Vision Deployment License.  I was under the impression that the combination of the Professional Edition of LabVIEW 7.1 and the NI Vision Development Module 8.0 would allow me to deploy my applications that use Vision components.  Is this not the case?  If not, how do I purchase a Vision Deployment License?

Dear Andrew,

1. The KB article is for LV 8.0. The application builder of LV 8.0 is different from the builder of LV 7.1. You need to do the steps described in the section for manual installation or update to LV 8.0.1.

2. If you have really read the License Agreement you should know that you need a deployment license for the Vision Module. You can buy the license from your local NI office of the onlie shop. Part number is 778044-00, price 310,- EUR.
