Problem creating inputs, outputs and text in Scilab Script Block

Solved!
Go to solution

As for a normal script block I am referring to a formula node block.

I selected the Scilab script block from the pallet.

It looks like I have the base development system which would explain the problem.  Which additions are required to support the script block?

You probably don't want to advertise your license number to the public.

I'd suggest you notify the operator to remove your attachment.

Hi Ronny,

There isn't an add-on per se that will support the Scilab script node.  The script node edit-time functionality is enabled by the LabVIEW Full Development System.  You would need to upgrade to LabVIEW Full or Professional (since the Pro version includes Full functionality).

Out of curiosity, where did you find the Scilab script node in the palettes?  I didn't see the Mathematics >> Scripts & Formulas palette in LabVIEW Base when reproducing this issue.

I moved the pallet around to a location I could add it.  I had to do this for another add on for one of our DAQ packages, still had the proceedure handy.

Grant,

Thanks for your assistance in helping us get to a solution for this problem. I must have missed that piece of information when I was looking through the documentation. Sorry to Ronny for the delay in finding the solution to the problem.

Regards,

Nick
