Problem installing drivers with V 7.1 and current hardware

I am in the process of upgrading from V6i to V7.1 Labview. The operating system is Windows NT, and the hardware are NI PC 6025E and Lab PC 1200 cards. What version of NIdaq should I use, and what sequence should I follow to install the software?

Hello d.halbig,
If you are using PCI-6025E and Lab-PC-1200 cards on the same computer, the latest driver that you can use is 6.9.3.
If you go to the following link,
http://www.ni.com/support/daq/versions.htm
you will notice that NI-DAQ 7.2 is recommended for PCI-6025E and NI-DAQ 6.9.3 for Lab-PC-1200 on Windows NT. So you can only use NI-DAQ 6.9.3 if both used on the same computer.
PCI-6025E is supported in DAQ-Traditional and DAQmx (for NI-DAQ 7.0 and higher), but with NI-DAQ 6.9.3, you will only be able to use DAQ-Traditional with PCI-6025E.
About sequence to follow, uninstall older NI-DAQ and older LabVIEW first. Then install LabVIEW 7.1 and then NI-DAQ 6.9.3.
Good luck with your project. Thank you for choosing National Instrumen
