Hi i'm a student in singapore polytechnic and i need help with my project.
I have a problem wth viewing my USB camera remotely using my partners laptop. He was able to see the front panel and can control but can't view the video. I was able to view the video on my own labview but not my partner's. We did installed the "LabVIEW Run-time Engine" + "Vision Run-time Engine" in our computers but still no display on the USB camera.
The VI i was using is the example given by NI-Imaq USB Grab.vi
Anyone can help thanks?

Hello Irving,
thank you so much for your post on our webforum. Which version of Labview are you using?
I think what you need on the target PC is the correct driver; the vision run-time engine is for vision components from the vision development module. For USB cams there is a http://sine.ni.com/devzone/cda/epd/p/id/5030 , please note that this driver is integrated in the lates vision acquisiion software (2009; NI IMAQdx); please refer the top of the page.
I hope this will help you further, please give me some version information (Labview, vision, vision acquisition) from both the development PC and the target PC.
Best regards,

Anyone knows how to view a USB camera remotely through another computer ?
I have installed all the lastest drivers + runtime engin but still unable to view it.
Do i need to do a broadcast for my USB camera so that i view it through "Connect to remote panel" or "Web Publishing Tool" ?

Hello Irving,
on the PC with the camera you need to publish the VI to the web and then you need to connect through remote panel . Remote panels is just one methode, this KB will explain more methods.
Hope this helps,
Best regards,
