Problem with USB comunication

I'd say it's some kind of init issue.  Try unplugging the USB adapter before turning off your computer at night.  In the morning, let the PC boot, then plug in the adapter.  If that doesn't work, do the same thing except turn off the Oscope also.  Then in the morning you plug in the USB adapter, let it configure itself, then turn on the Oscope...

 

Actually, probably best to turn off the Oscope when you turn off your computer.  What is probably happening is when you turn off your computer at night, the Oscope still thinks it's connected to something.  In the morning, your USB adapter reconfigs itself and can't see the Oscope.  After you are sure the USB adapter has configured itself, turn on the Oscope.
