Problem with menubar while controling front panel remotely

If I view and control my front panel remotely in a Web browser (MS Internet Explorer Version 6.0) on another computer the menubar doesn't work right. If I change the name of a menu item (with "Set Menu Item Info"), while controling remotely, the name of the item changes to something completely different. Sometimes the name of the item afterwards is "", sometimes it is a string of confused mixed characters. While this problem happend on the client pc, the menubar on the server pc looks fine.
If I delete the item (with "Delete Menu Items") an afterwards insert an item with the same item tag (with: "Insert Menu Items") everything works fine. To do it this way would work, but I have to change a lot of my block diagramm.

Is this problem a bug in LabView (Version 7.1) or in the Run-Time Engine (Version 7.1) on the client pc or did I something wrong?

thanks for your post. Problem is a known problem and it will be fixed in LabVIEW 8. You´ve found a workaround, I hope this is ok for you.

Not sure if this will help (no 7.1 here), but you can try unchecking hot menus and abridged menus in Options>>Misc. and see.
