Problem with non linear curve fitting

Hello.

I have a data set of 10 x and 10 y values. I need to find a quadratic formula representing this data set. I understand i have to use the non liner curve fit (Lev-Mar formula string) and specify my formula as a1*x^2+a2*x+a3. Im passing my data as a control array from the front panel. What I dont get is what do i specify for initial parameters and weight ?

Why not use polynomial fit with order = 2 to get your quadratic formula?

On top of what GerdW said, you can get more info about Weight and initial parameters by looking at the Help file associated with the VI. Display context help if you aren't already by pressing ctrl+h, then mouse over the VI. Click Detailed Help in the help window for more info.
