Problem with saving comport settings

Dear NI,

                   Give your solution as soon as possible..

I am working with Serial port Device, i am reading data from the COM port..for that i given option to save the comport settings like a resource name, baudrate...etc. but when i close the labview after reopen the labview only the resource name not get saved, its showing empty...

again i have to save the resource name then only its working....

send me reply , i enclosed labview file...

Hi Balaji,

      Please check whether the attached VI performs as desired.

I think the VISA resource is really a reference and the convert to XML was recording the actual reference-value - not the text attribute.
