Problem with setting up the DAQ Card-1200 in MAX (Measurement and Automation).

I use the Wavelan PCIAdapter and the NI DAQ Card 1200 (PCMCIA) and NI-DAQ 6.8.1 drivers.
The PC recognizes both the Card and adapter (the drivers are OK) but when I try to set I/O values and other parameters in MAX then MAX points out that there's no Card to configure.
As far as I know, MAX should provide me the list with all Cards available so that I could chose the one I use but there's nothing.
What should I do?
I hope I presented the right angle of the problem.

To verify that the DAQCard-1200 has been correctly installed, go to your Device Manager (unless you have WinNT) and verify that the card is listed under Data Acquisition Devices. If the card is listed here, and has no resource conflicts, we should be able to detect the card in MAX.

Open up MAX, and look under Devices & Interfaces. Is your DAQCard-1200 listed there?

If it is, right click on the card and select "Properties." From this window you can configure the card to your specifications.

If the card is not listed, go up to the "View" menu and select "Refresh." The card should now be listed and available for configuration. If you are still having problems, please contact National Instruments technical support by calling (512)795-8248.
