Problems with HP-8510c in step-single mode.

I am collecting data with HP-8510c in step-single
mode using the LabView provided device. The problem is that I can not collect 400 and 800 points in one sweep. (It works OK with 50, 100 and 200 points). I changed the Sw/Dwl time from 50 to 200 ms to accomodate for the increased number of points (it takes 184 ms for the 800 points sweep), it gave no result. I encounter the same problem with the averaging, for 200 points I can average 32 times but not more (I am shooting for 128). Thanks.

Hello-

This may be something to do with the instrument driver. Is it possible to get an NI-Spy capture. Also, is there a manual with the command set? Try matching the command set to what is sent by the driver. There may be some differences.
