Problems with Labview 6i .vi under 7.1

Have a fairly simple .vi we've been running under v.6i on win98 and win2k. New installation of Labview 7.1 on a winxpsp2 machine, when opening .vi, asks for a bunch of sub .vi s. It has been about impossible to 1)Figure out what all the sub .vis are and where they are located 2) Get sub vis copied to go with the top .vi. Is this supposed to be done manually for each sub .vi? How do I get Labview to save a vi with the entire heirarchy of sub .vis so that it is a stand alone entity? (assume no network link between the two machines) Thanks

Go to File>Save With Options and select Development Distribution. This will create an llb with all of your custom VIs. When you copy your llb to the other pc, use Tools>VI Libray Manager to convert the llb to a directory.
