Problems with Yast Linux 9.1 and LabView 8.0

Hello,

we do have following problem:

After installation of LabView 8.0 on a Suse Linux 9.1 Machine,

the Yast2 Software Install Module didn't work anymore.

Following error messages occures:

"Segmentation Fault"

Yast (without window manager) can't be started anymore.

No reaction from the system according to this call.

we reproduced the behaviour with SuSE 9.2 (haana).
it is reported and worked on.

Hello Markus,

This is a known issue that is a result of conflicting packages.  The good news is that it is easy to fix.  To solve the problem as root run:

rm /usr/local/lib/libstdc++.so.5*

That should fix the problem.
