Programatically controlling properties of a graph

I'd like automate changing properties of a graph based on the state of numeric controls in a vi.

For example, say I am displaying frequency spectrum of a continuously-generated noisy sinusoid wave.I have a control to set the frequency of the sine function. I'd like the X-range of the spectrum graph to change automatically as I change the frequency control. How can I do that?

You could try marking your own post as the solution.  Then people will tend to ignore it.  Don't know if it will work or not.
