Hi there, I have a problem using Pt By Pt Vi's, I think I know the reason, but I'm looking for confirmation or even better a solution to the problem. I need to do equal analysis on multiple sensor signals. The upper two branches take the signal from the DAQmx VI and analyse each signal individually. That works fine 🙂 With the "for loop" below it doesn't work 😞 I think it has to do with memory used by the PtByPt vi's. Each instance of those VI's has it's own memory allocated so that they don't interfere with each other, right? Since using the "for loop" I have only 2 instances of the PtByPt vi's; data from multiple sensors get messed up 😞 In my application the number of sensors chanes all the time. It's always a multiple of three but today it may be 1 time 3 sensors, 3 analysis are needed; tommrow it's maybe 3 times 3 sensors, 9 analysis are needed. I was thinking using loops and array to handle the varying number of sensors but the Pt By Pt vi's makes this impossible 😞 What's the best way to handle this? Regards Alain

Thanks for the reactions guys but I'm still using LV 8.6 so that will not work for me 🙂

In the mean time I wrote my own code based on the Pt By Pt vi's, as suggested by Gerd.
