Question on creating sound dynamiclly with the signal generator VI in Labview

Greatings All,

I would like to dynamiclly change the frequency of the signal generator VI in
labview 7.1
creating a 400 to 5000 Hz signal. I would like
to output this to my computers sound card so I can hear what
it sounds like when I dynamiclly change the freq value is this possible in real-time
?

Do you have to use the signal generator? There's an example called Continuous Sound Output that does what you want without it.

Look at your Labview examples. In the sound ones, there is an example -continous sound output.vi- that can be a good starting point for your application.
