RIO resource name question

Hello,  

I have a request to change the RIO resource name (not the alias), I think this is automatically generated and not some thing I can set. If I'm wrong could someone show me how and if I'm correct could someone point me towards documentation?

I'm Nick, Applications Engineer at NI.

You are right, there is no way to choose RIO resource name manually. It is the same principle as with port numbers.

I do not see any documentation, it is implicit, and also it is the very reason we introduced aliases.
