RT target crashes, displays 'Fatal error Kernel.146080'

When I terminate my program, which has been running fine, the RT target (NI PXI-8186 Embedded Controller) crashes and displays the following message:

User program stopped at exception:1.

CS:EIP=0018:0018F142...

EAX=02EB53A0...

...

No host debug possible.

Fatal error KERNEL.146080: System halted.

ETS Monitor halting with error code 2001.

This occurs when my program executes 'SIT Finalize Model (no server).vi. The PXI-8186 has to be re-booted and communication to it has to be re-established. After this all works fine until I terminate the program again.

Has anyone seen this type of problem?

Do you get this crash when you run any VI on the target, or just your application?

Does your LV RT version on the host match the version on the target?

If this is happening in any application you run, you should reformat your target's controller:

 Restoring or Changing the Operating System in a PXI-8180 or PXI-8190 Series Embedded Controller

The Kernal error makes me think it might be best to reformat anyway.  Good luck!
