Did you mean:

RVDT simulation

Yes, absolutely the way You described.

In the case under my consideration, outputs should be phase-modulated instead of amplitude-modulated - that's the difference.

Suppose, R-series card will do the job anyway.

Thank You.

I've recently posted 4-wire and 5-wire LVDT, RVDT, and Resolver IP here: Sensor Simulation Custom Device

The write up and the title are due to this being a plug-in for NI VeriStand, but the zip file contains more than just that. In total:

  1. Windows runnable IP for 4-wire and 5-wire LVDT and RVDT
  2. Windows runnable IP for Resolver
  3. LabVIEW Real-Time and FPGA IP for 4-wire and 5-wire LVDT and RVDT including precompiled bitfiles for R series
  4. LabVIEW Real-Time and FPGA IP for Resolver including precompiled bitfiles for R series
  5. Two example NI VeriStand FPGA personalities with combinations of the different IP including precompiled bitfiles for R series
  6. A NI VeriStand custom device plug-in to integrate this IP into NI VeriStand natively- allowing the user to add this custom device to a system definition and then select a bitfile that contains the IP for integration into the NI VeriStand engine.

Hope that helps!
