Rack selection input on DAQ Assistant

Does anyone have or know of a quick way to add a DAQ Rack selection ring to a DAQ Assistant express VI?  I have multiple CompactDAQ racks, each with its own laptop. I would like to have a front panel control so I could use 1 VI and select which DAQ rack I am using with a menu ring control.  In the past I have added a DAQ Assistant and converted to DaqMX code, then added my ring with a case structure and text joining to the initialze subVI.  I was hoping someone has a DAQ Assistant express VI clone that has a DAQ selection input.

Hi,

I’m sorry to inform you do not have access to the resource name form the DAQ assistant to be able to change it with a “ring”. You have to options; first one is to use the low level VI like you did before or have a DAQ assistant per each module. Just remember that only one can be running at a  time.
