The database connectivity toolkit from LabVIEW is the easiest way to implement database functionality but if you're familiar with SQL, there's the free LabSQL from Jeffrey Travis.

Thanks Dennis.

LabSQL it's very good.

But I see a problem.

If I want run my application in another computer I've add in ODBC Data Sources my Database. It's a problem for me. Do you know a solution for this?

Well, for the ODBC driver itself you shouldn't have to worry. That should have been taken care of by the Access installer. For the ODBC Data Source, that is something you just have to do. You can either try to create the according DSN in the Data Source Administrator on each deployed machine or create a file based Data Source in the Data Source Administrator and distribute that *.dsn file to the other computers. As long as the database driver and the database configuration is the same, file based DSNs are a good way to distribute your ODBC database setup.

I have made a SubVi. This SubVi write in windows Registry all I need like I should use ODBC Data Sources.

I try it and it's Ok.

One question, in LABSQL's example, how can I select a specific LastName?

I try this:
SELECT * FROM myDB WHERE LastName="Travis"

but itsn't OK.

If I recall, for text queries you need to use single quotes instead of double quotes.

Sorry, but I don't understand you.

Can you write a example?

Thanks.

Instead of "Travis", use 'Travis'.
