Read DCD on serial itf ?

Does anybody know how to read DCD on a serial interface using labview and
appropriate serial VIs ?

I'm using both NI serial PCI hardware and PC standard

You can read the state of the modem lines using VISA and the property node.

If by appropriate serial VIs, you mean VISA, then use a VISA property node. The property is Mdoem Line Settings>Line DCD State. I don't think it's available with the old serial driver.
