Read Data faster or something else??

Greetings from Michigan,

I have a Waveform chart where I have formatted the x-scale to display time.  The offset I have set for 5 seconds.  So I need the data to stream across the chart in 5 seconds so that theoretically, what's displayed on the chart is 5 seconds of data.  What appears to be easy (I'm sure it is) I cannot get to work satisfactory.  I'm struggling to get the data to stream across fast enough.  I've been playing with the rate and the samples to read to no avail.  Please help. Thanks.

Change your DAQmx Read to output an array of waveforms.  Then you will not need to mess with any of the scales of the chart or get the current time (will be part of the waveform data).

Just a guess here, because I can't actually see your vi (only running 2014). But it does look as though your waveform currently displayed is exactly 1 second long, which unless you are lucky with the timing seems odd. Are you sure that you are concatenating your old data onto the end of the existing data, and not just overwriting the old data?
