Read data of embedded web page

Hi Wilmer,

i have a question. Can you please explain why you use an embedded webpage, but you want to automatically login? I'm sure my posted example should work. It works for my. I only get error 66, but this is ok. Can you also explain what you aim behind all this is?

Try to help.

Hi MikeS81,

I have an electronic equipment, which I have to remotely monitor to capture certain data values and then processing them, equipment is located in a very remote and only has an Ethernet communications port, this equipment has a website Embedded, using Internet Explorer on my PC I can enter the site prior entry of the username and password, and see different data, I need to extract this data using Labview, it is possible to do this?

Hi Wilmer,

yes it's possible and you should be able to do it if you use my vi. If you have the correct username and password, then you should be able to get the result page. No need to use the activex Webbrowser.

Hi MikeS81, Thank you very much for your help !!!, but I just did a test with the new VI (8.5)  you have posted and the Base64 that I've created but I can not enter the website, I think the error is in the Base64 that I'm generating, if not too much to ask could you send me or publish the "Util convert to Base64.vi"?

Regards

Wilmer
