Whatever VI you want converted, post to the version conversion board that is marked at the top of the page and attach the VI.

I have found reading an Excel files using the Active-X methods to be unrealiable.

Even using National Instruments own example here https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-16042 I have had several programs that worked on my development system but would crash Excel on 2 out of 5 target systems.

I am guessing it is because there is so many different Windows, Excel, and Active-X versions that you can not be guarenteed this will work on every target.

Because you automatically get all the replies to a thread you replied to.

You have to go to your user settings and stop "following" this thread if you no longer want to receive reply notifications.

Hi,

I recently started a thread on the LabWindows/CVI discussion page (I have not replied to any threads dealing with reading Excel Files recently).  My question was:

Re: Does anyone have experience with vxWorks 5.2?

Why am I now getting replies/updates to the below ‘Reading Data from an Excel File’ thread???

John

Look at the thread. You did not reply, tecnico.bcn@gmail.com did. As long as anyone posts to a thread that you have subscribed to, you get an email.
