I' ve a problem trying to display measurements from my micro-epsilon (optoNCDT 1420) telemeter by Labview (VISA); the problem is that I can only obtain informations regarding the state of the sensor, not the distance it's measuring.
I think I don't write the correct command in the "write buffer" of the "VISA Write Function".
I'm using a PXI and I can use correctly the micro-epsilon software, so I'm sure the sensor works and the PC could read it.
If you have any suggestion, please let me know.
I'm sending you the "vi" and the telemeter manual.

Vi scrivo poichè non riesco ad acquisire, e rappresentare, le misurazioni ottenute dal mio telemetro della micro-epsilon mediante Labview (VISA); il problema è che ottengo solamente informazioni riguardo lo stato del sensore, non la distanza che misuro.
Credo che il problema stia nel "write buffer" della "VISA Write Function": sicuramente non scrivo il comando corretto.
Utilizzo una PXI e riesco ad utilizzare correttamente il software proprietario della micro-epsilon, perciò sono sicuro che il sensore funzioni e che comunichi con il PC.
Se avete qualche suggerimento, o avete incontrato problemi simili, per favore fatemi sapere.
