Real-time resets upon running

Hello everyone,

I have just set up Labview Real-time on two computers, one as the host and one as the target.
When I run a very simple program, everything seems fine. I used a standard While-loop which adds two numbers.

However, when the program becomes slightly with a timed While loop or a Real-time tick counter, the target reboots when I try to download the program.

What am I doing wrong?

You might like this additional information:

I am using the PXI Format disks on a Pentium D computer. The dual processor feature has been disabled.
The on-board NIC has been disabled. An Intel network adapter was inserted into the computer.
The problem I'm facing is that the Timed Loop cannot run on the target PC. LV is unable to download loadlverrors.vi (if I remember correctly).

Hi Bjorn1985,

A Pentium D is not supported when running LabVIEW Real-Time, please see following document for details on the supported hardware features:

http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/3efedde4322fef19862567740067f3cc/cb3434da94466dd286256e9e006bb775?O...

Also, please not that the PXI Format disk can only be used to install LabVIEW Real Time on a PXI system. And do not contain the full hardware support for a Desktop PC but only what is needed for our PXI Controllers. Please see above document on details on how to obtain a license and create the correct disk for a Desktop PC.

Hope this explains things.
