I'm trying to read temperature data from an imc CANSAS module over CAN using the Vector VN5620 and TroyK's example VI for CAN receive (from the XL Driver API examples).
My Setup:

LabVIEW 2024

Using CAN channel 5

Bitrate: 125000
-
Target CAN-ID: 0x03
The xlOpenPort and xlCanSetChannelBitrate steps seem to work, but when I call xlActivateChannel, I keep getting this error:
I've checked:

accessmask = 0x10 (for CAN5)
-
porthandle is passed through from xlOpenPort
-
Interface version is set to 3
-
Bitrate is a U32 constant = 125000
-
Event handle is set to 0
I'm not sure if the issue is with the accessmask, the way I initialize the channel, or something else. Has anyone had success with TroyK’s example and CAN5 on a VN5620?
