Refresh Image

I recently upgraded to LabView 8.5 and also started using the IMAQdx drivers instead of Legacy drivers for my FireWire camera. My issue is the Image Refresh and Clear ROI doesn’t seem to work. I create a reference to my output image and create those two methods. But, when I run my VI, the image from the previous run stays in the image pane until the new one replaces it. The very first thing I want to happen when I run the VI is for that image to clear out.

I have several VI's I created using legacy drivers in LabView 8.2 and the Image refresh and Clear ROI work fine on them. The first thing that happens is the image pane is cleared. Then, only after capture and processing does the new image show up in the pane.

Try using an invoke node in the begining and in the invoke node select reinitialize to default.this is one way.Let me know if it doesnt solve the problem

Thanks muks. I continued to experiment and I found that out shortly after my post.
