Reg instruction set of a GPIB device

Hi

I've understood the basic idea behind how to write an instrument driver.Now the problem is I donno where to get the instruction set for my device.It is called EROS,an instrument used to measure Modulation transfer function.I searched all the manuals and all I was in a position to get was some sort of microcontroller code which has some instructions.Will that be of any use in getting the instruction set for the device?????

Hello-

There is a product for device-side development of a GPIB bus, NI-Device. NI-Device is a software package for making the GPIB card act as a GPIB device instead of a controller. ni.com/products has more information about this software.
