Remove and Rewire option in NXG

What happend to Remove and Rewire option in NXG? Right click one. Is there other way to do it now?

I search for a while but did not see any postings. I hope it did not get removed. It took NI forever to add this fuature.

Was it ever available in NXG?

Probably not.  I never played within NXG before. Was not enough support.
Tried NXG5 and it the first thing I realized was missing from Labview. Why would they remove this option? It seems NI aid saying NXG is all about improving efficiency.

Actually, the stated mission - and I'm paraphrasing here - is to "dumb it down" to be safer to use for the "average" user.  Furthermore, LabVIEW classic will no longer develop in ways that would make it diverge from NXG.  Check out the links in this discussion.

I feel this particular omission is just that they haven't gotten to it, yet, though.

Just to be clear, nothing was ever "removed" from NXG. It is another product and it is not "code complete" in the sense that it could replace current LabVIEW. The question should rather be whether a feature will be implemented or how it will be implemented in NXG.

I was trying to make that distinction in my last post, although admittedly from a user POV and not a product POV.
