I have a customer trying to issue a restart command to a PXI-RT system from Labview 2011 64 bit. He says the command doesn't work.
I currently don't have 64bit so I can't test it very well right now.
Is this something anyone else has tried or experienced?
Thanks,
Josh

The real-time module is not supported for 64-bit LabVIEW. As a work around, you could install 32-bit LabVIEW onto your 64-bit OS. This should solve your customer's issue.

My customer is using very large data sets and has chosen 64 bit Labview because he has hit the memory constrains of 32 bit labview. Any other options?
Thanks,
Josh

If he/she needs to use RT, then 32-bit is his/her only option. Here is a very thorough tutorial on improving memory performance. Sometimes I admit it that memory constraints are unavoidable, but ideally this is not one of those scenarios.
