Hi all,
I am struggling with a problem that has just appeared recently in my Vector Network Analyzer - Labview setup:
I am taking sweeps to read the S parameters with a VNA (Anritsu MS46122B) which is controlled with a Labview program via Ethernet. Everything worked fine until two days ago, when I unattached the VNA from the network. When I plugged everything together, it seems that the VNA is still communicating with the PC (A VISA session is opened through NI MAX), the VNA keeps listening and the .vi modules I use for initialization, configuration of the traces work fine (I can check directly on the VNA screen and no error is obtained in labview).
The problem arises when I try to read the S-parameters (log mag and phase). I specify the channel, the trace to read out, any errors out but in the graph of the front panel of Labview I see nothing. More specifically, empty in magnitude and noise in phase. According to a probe I placed at the outcome of the Read S-parameters module, the corrected parameters being exported are practically zero (orders of magnitude of E-312....).
I have no idea why is this happening or what could I check next, as the program is the same one that worked fine before. My guess is that it has something to do with the VNA - PC path of the retrieved S parameters, but they are clearly shown on the VNA screen and the PC seems to communicate well with the VNA....
I am totally lost, could anyone please give me a hand? I can be more precise if you need me to.
Many thanks in advance.

Was it unplugged from the network to go out to the manufacturer for repair or calibration? If it did, it may have come back with an updated firmware rev. I've noticed that with Agilent stuff, they love to slap the latest, greatest firmware before sending it back, even if there are known compatibility issues between the firmware they put on and the firmware that was there already.
