Run LABVIEW under windows server group policy object

We have installed student version LABVIEW on 3 of workstations that are currently under our server's active directory. Users are log-in to the workstantion with GPO (group policy object) attached; therefore, users do not have any local Admin right to configur local workstation. But, LABVIEW seems to need local admin right inorder to work properly.

QUESTION: How can I set up my local workstaion in this kind of active directory enviroment without compromising my GPO control?

Max,

It is possible to give administrative rights to all users only on certain folders of the computer. Here is a link to a Knowledge Base from the National Instruments website regarding giving administrative privileges to all National Instruments hardware and software:

Knowledge Base 3CQGAFHS: Giving Non-Administrators Full Control over National Instruments Products

If you do not wish to give full privileges to all users on all National Instruments products on the computer, you can choose to perform this procedure on the LabVIEW folder only.
