I have created an executable application using LabView version 2012 (32-bit) and would like to put it on a computer that is currently running Windows 2000. I tried installing Runtime Engine 8.6.1 and when unzipped an error came up saying that it needed Windows Service Pack 2. Does anyone know what runtime engine I can install to get this application to work.
Thanks

If you read here - it mentions that the latest service pack may be required for some operating systems. For Windows 2000, it looks like it needs SP2.
Here's a download page for SP2 for Windows 2000.
Cheers

If you used LabVIEW 2012 to create the executable, you need the LabVIEW 2012 run time engine.
Why would you even try to install the 8.6.1 run time engine? That makes no sense!
Windows 2000 is only supported up to LabVIEW 2009, so you are probably out of luck (details)
