Run-Time on Windows CE

Hi,

Is there a way to execute 8.6.1 Run Time Engine on Windows CE platform? The reason I ask is because I am trying to view a remote panel I have created in LabVIEW 8.6.1 on a TPC 2012. The remote panel publishes a VI running on a cRIO-9012. Could there be another way I can see this VI's front panel on the TPC-2012?

Hi Bermea,

Are you trying to run an executable on your Touch Panel? You should be able to do that--please refer to this post.

Hi

I guess you have two option

1) purchase the NI LabVIEW Touch Panel Module. This is an addon toolkit for labview, creating windows CE compatible exe files

2) Upgrade your TPC-2012 with more ram and larger disk (4 GB CompactFlash card, 500 MHz and 512 MB DDR SDRAM memory) and then set it up with Windows XP embedded. You have to call NI to hear if you can do it. Doing this will be the same as upgrading your module to a NI TPC-2512. Perhaps the cost will be the same as purchasing a new NI TPC-2512.
