Run When Opened

Just updated to 8.2.  I prefer that my executable's do not run when opened.  I have the vi properties 'run when open' check box - unchecked.  When building the application, no matter what I set the 'run when open' options to, the executable always runs when opened.

How can I make the executable not run when opened?

Hello Alan:

This is a bug in LV 8.2 fixed in LV 8.21 as far as I know.

However a workaround exists in LV 8.2. In the Build Specification Configuration Window, go to the Advanced page, and check "Wait for debugger on Launch".
