Run a labview GUI without Labview installed

When i try to build the installer, it says it cannot find the Visa path. However VISa is fully installed on my pc.

When installing the Labview runtime engine separately, should I also be installed Labview Visa runtime?

Hi lolasue,

as your EXE needs VISA you need to install it - either by setting up an installer or by "manually" install the VISA runtime!

Then something went wrong while/after installing LabVIEW.

Did someone "clean up" your PC and removed the installation packages needed by the AppBuilder?

Yes you need to include VISA Runtime also: https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA00Z0000019LRFSA2&l=en-US

So my Client needs to install Labview Runtime Engine and also Labview Visa Runtime?  The application will then find both to run on their pc?

When you add both to installer then it will automatically installs the Runtime engines.
