Running Matlab script

I am trying to run Matlab script on Labview 2010, I receive error no 1046 - cannot initialize script server.I have Matlab 2009 installed on the computer. When I try to run the script on Matlab, it is running well.

Please advice.

Thanks

You need to narrow down whether this is a generic problem, or something specific to your script. Do the Matlab examples that ship with LabVIEW work? Restart LabVIEW and try to open the examples and try to run them. What happens? Do you still get the error? If so, this indicates that LabVIEW is having problems communicating with the Matlab script server. I am assuming that Matlab is installed on the same computer as LabVIEW. What kind of license are you using for Matlab? I have seen occasional problems if Matlab was set up to use a network license rather than a personal license.

This is a general problem. The examples shipped with Labview don't work. Matlab is installed on my computer with local (personal) license.

I'm experiencing the same problem and my matlab licence is for server. So, what can I do to resolve the error 1046 from the matlab node?

Thanks for helping!

Hi OD and gabi_hor,

If you are both seeing the 1046 error from the Script Node I would suggest running through the KnowledgeBase I've linked bellow.

Why Do I Get Error 1047 When Trying to Use The MATLAB® Script Node in LabVIEW?
