Just to let you know it's possible, we regularly run programs for months at a time at my work on standard Windows PCs. Usually with Debug/Deploy licenses but sometimes .exe. DAQmx tasks are left open the whole time. File, TCP, serial, etc refs are opened and closed as needed. Have more problems with keeping Windows running that long than LabVIEW.
