Which kind of CE image do you use. Is it something you have compiled, or is it a preinstalled image from a vendor. If you are building your own image you have to included the AYGShell API in your Image. If I am not wrong dll you mentioned calls another dll. I do not remember which. Due to the lack of support from NI I kicked out the whole thing

You could ask your vender if they could build a image with the AYGShell API included. If not you may compile your own image. Microsoft offers a 6 months trail version of the all you need to build a CE image.

Your vender knows that must be included in the CE image so ask them nice and tell them you are a student and that it's an problem in your graduation project. But skip the plzzzzzzzzz. You may use them for your girlfriend then you must explain why you give priority to your your graduation project, and not herSmiley Very Happy

hi Coq Rouge,

I encounters this problem either. I try to build an application runs in a windowsCE6.0 with labview2009. First, I make a simple demo application

(a sine wave displays in a chart) run in windowsCE6.0 successfully. Then the problem rose as I try to build an application using visa sub VIs. Openvisa failed error code (-17*****202), this is because I haven't install the visa driver. But after install the visa driver for winCE for ARM, I can't make visa vi open runs either, error code (-17*******360) unknown system error. I checked files Jeremy_B recommended in http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/Pocket-PC-application-fails-to-run-missing-libraries/td-p/765551/pag..., all files are present. Now I am totally lost my direction, have you sovled this problem? could you plz give me some advice? I really appreciate, thank you.

Sorry I can not help you. Due to a very greedy license policy from NI. The cost of 1 deployment license then using a non NI panel PC was more than the cost of the panel PC. So as I guess you may understand we dropped all plans about using windows CE and Labview. Since you are a new member of this forum you should start a new thread. The reason is that NI have people going through the postings. Then they see a new member struggling. They will jump into action, but not an "old" member like my self. If you include "windows CE problem" in your header I will find your post and try to help you more. That will be the best thing to do, as your chance to solve your problem is better this way.

hi Coq Rouge, thanks for your suggestion.  Then I'll figure out other solutions to develope my project.

And plz excuse me for one more question, the problem for our situation is only the license issues, which means that we should buy some extra software plug_ins to make the visa driver can serve our applications running on an non-NI hardware?

oh, and thank you for your posting tips too.

 Best wishes. Smiley Happy
