Running multiple VIs

Running a complied VI using a PCI DIO-96 that monitors contact closure from 20 devices every 5 seconds  Remain PCI slot is being used.  Would it be ok to run a VI using a USB DAQ device at the same time monitoring some other process that requires a reading every minuute?
