We are using a calibrated Piston Phone to set the reference level of the microphone at 114 dB and 1 KHz. We are using the SVL Calibrate Microphone (DAQmx) VI to measure the calibrated sensor sensitivity. This works great and seems to be very accurate.
The issue is we also need to calibrate the microphone at multiple frequencies to adjust for the room acoustics. There is no function within the S&V to allow calibrating a microphone across octaves or selected frequencies. The SVT ought to have a sub-VI which allows the entry of correction factors at arbitrary frequencies which results in a smoothed correction curve.
This should be a comon problem so does anyone have a solution for multifrequency calibration. I could add it but most of the S&V Toolkit VIs are locked.
Any help is appreciated!
