SCC Error 25557

Hi.
I am having problems checking in VI's after they've been checked out using Labview 7.1 built-in SCC. The attachment shows a picture of the error I am getting. My colleague is seeing the same problem.

I've checked things like date mis-matches between server copies of files and local copies of files, but the local copies of the files I wish to check back in are always newer than the server copies.

Anyone seen this problem before? I've been using the Built-in SCC successfully for months now.

I've also tried deleting the file from SCC, then adding it back again, but still get the same problem when I check it out and try to check in again.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
do you have the SCC configured to internal locking instead of file permissions? (Tools->Options->Source Code Control then select the configure button). Try selecting the other option.

Alternatively, create a copy of that file again after moving the revised version to a different folder. Then move this new copy back into the original folder so as to overwrite the copy that was downloaded. Then try checking back in the overwritten version.

Please let me know if that helps

Thanks

Also, is it limited to one set of VI's or one particular VI, or does it always happen now regardless of VI selected?

Thanks

Changing the settings to File Permissions instead of Internal Locking seems to have solved the problem.

Thanks. Much appreciated.
