I want to develop an application to communicate a DVD or a CD unit (with ATAPI intereface) with LabVIEW. I've seen that NI has the PXI-8214 able to control up to 15 SCSI units.I've seen that it's possible to find in the market SCSI-to-ATAPI conversters. Has anybody some experience with this? How difficult it is the programming of those units? Is there any special driver for this control? Thanks in advance
Although I do not have any experience with the SCSI-ATAPI interface, as long as the converter complies with the SCSI standard, you should be able to get it to work,
