We have a DAQ with SCXI-1600 in the lab and it is connected to a windows 11 pc via USB. Unfortunately since the pc's hardware is modern it is not possible to install windows XP on it to use the compatible drivers for the DAQ. I tried using a virtual window XP machine on the pc but also the USB passthrough is not enough to read the data from the DAQ.
Is there any possible way to fix this problem other than installing windows XP on the PC?

Using a WinXP machine (without network access) would be the most straight-forward solution…
Another option would be to upgrade the measurement system to modern hardware!
