SCXI - PXI platform - DAQmx compatibility

It sounds strange. Applications are typically written towards a specific hardware or series of hardware. SCXI is sufficiently different in operation that it would not work with a software application that was written and tested for lets say a modern PXI chassis using NI Switch devices or similar. I'm sure I don't see the entire picture here and what you may be trying to do may somehow work, but I would be very sceptical about it.

It is a very complex platform of tools and it consists of different applications which can communicate and share data.
